The Canadian Red Cross contributes to the overall mission of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement worldwide in preventing or alleviating human suffering wherever it may be found. The International Disaster Relief Fund allows the Canadian Red Cross to support life-saving activities within hours of an emergency. It also allows the Red Cross to respond to emergencies that may not make headline news but have devastated hundreds, or thousands of people.

Your gift in support of the International Disaster Relief Fund provides life-saving assistance wherever it’s urgently needed. Funds raised in support of IDRF will be used to provide support such as medical care, food and shelter to those affected whenever disasters, epidemics or conflicts puts lives in danger.
