Take United Way’s GetUP challenge!

チャリティ活動名 UNITED WAY GREATER TORONTO

United Way is asking you to GetUP in support of your community by doing 300 minutes of physical activity between Nov. 1-10, 2022—one minute for each of the local agencies United Way funds.

With each , stride, stretch, jump, skip, dance step or pedal (how you move is up to you), you’ll be supporting your friends and neighbours who are experiencing poverty, homelessness, hunger and other related issues. They especially need your support right now—the rising cost of living and the lingering effects of the pandemic are pushing many into crisis.

Show your local love by getting your heart pumping! Register now!

Date: Nov. 1-10, 2022
Location: Your home, workplace, local park or gym—wherever you like to get active.
Register by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 11 to save 25% on your registration fee!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Register to participate and start fundraising. Each dollar raised helps us build a GTA where everyone has a decent home, food on the table, and a good, stable job.
2. Join a team or start one. Ask your family, friends, neighbours, classmates and colleagues to show their local love by joining you for GetUP 2022.
3. Going solo? That works too! Ask your network to show their local love by contributing to your fundraising campaign.
4. Make GetUP your own. How you get your 300 minutes in is up to you! Choose running, yoga, Zumba, bhangra, tai chi, belly dancing—anything goes.
5. Share your progress. As you work towards your 300 minutes, be sure to share your progress on social media using #UP4Community.
