United Way BC’s role is to stand alongside the systems and partners already responding, and to be ready to act where our support can meaningfully contribute. We remain committed to responding with care, humility, and deep respect for the leadership of those closest to the communities impacted.
We anticipate beginning our Emergency Response and Recovery initiatives in the coming months, focusing on medium- and long‑term, community-wide supports.
Any donations made to us will be directed toward these long‑term recovery efforts.
